>Thank you as well for the generous supply of the enormous amounts of
>(now) free FBII code. Especially the FJ folders are highly appreciated.
One note on the Function Junction folders that are on the CD... If you
have the "futurebasic.org" version of FnJnII, _DO_NOT_ overlay it with
the one from the CD! The one on the CD is an "older" version... The ones
with the floppy-disk folder icon labeled "FJ" are newer. You can
determine for sure which is the absolute latest by looking at the file
"FN selectionRect2.BAS" in the folder "Function Libraries f". If the
last-modified date is in 1999, it's the current one.
I have not looked at the ones on the CD in depth, so I'm not sure what
all the differences are; I know _I_ fixed a few bugs in FnJnII after I
got Ross' "latest version" last year, mostly relating to newer Macs &
OSes. I've never _seen_ "Function Junction 1" before! Staz must have
_really_ dug deep to find that antique! :-)
As always, the latest FnJnII _and_ the brand-new FnJnIII are available to
FnJnII owners (now including all FB^3 owners...) for $29.50. I'm dropping
the "full bundle for new customers" from my price list (which I still
haven't gotten posted anyway...)
I would guess that "Release 1" will include the very latest FnJnII,
rather than the old version. I don't _think_ FnJnIII will be on there -
maybe in Release 2. That's something Staz & I will discuss.
If anyone who bought the full FnJnII and III package from me for $69.95
in the last few months is unhappy that II is now on the CD, albeit an
older version, please email me. I _don't_ want any "unhappy customers"!
