Thankyou all, well I actually didn't have a choice on being gone so long, I
am in the National Guard, had been on delayed enlistment and that special
date where i got to go to basic training and advanced individual training
(75H, personal service specialist.. sounds cool eh?) came around the corner
so I lost 4 months of my civilian life style. But I am back and doing lots of
goodies and special codings. I got some emails requesting my Foxchange FB
Libraries so I re-uploaded them at
ftp://ftp.foxchange.com/anonymous/FcFBLibs.hqx and promise to never remove em
again. As for youthful genius, Foxchange Shareware has plenty of those, I am
at my buddies's house, Sean, who is a 3D FutureBASIC programer who is 17,
also we have about 10 programmers under the age of 20, I am the old geezer
here. Here is some information that i got for the appearance manager, I
myself love the Mac OS interface, it is great, I actually wish all Mac
programs (commercial that is) would follow it and use it. However for Mac
Games it just doesn't fit in as well, so like usual I am doing my own thing,
but now writing CDEF's and WDEF's like in the past, but a 100% custom
interface that can't be affected by the System, so when that is finished I
will post it onto the my library. I have a couple Plug-Ins I will try for
FB^3, one will CALL SETORIG or something to hide the icons on the project
manager and hopefully allow you to open files with a single click, and the
other to slow down scrolling, I never use scroll bars, I select text up or
down to scroll and it will slow that down (I hope), more like my own personal
plug ins. If anyone needs help with making computer games, just give me a
ring!
