I feel stupid that I didn't even try this before. When typing a letter and 
doing some important BOOM (for the 6th time in the day) and I was about to 
pick my computer up and slam it. In frustration I literally pulled out all 
SCSI devices (that froze everything) but after a shutdown and a little wait 
everything was ok. I have now been using my Mac for 2 days and have yet to be 
crashed by the notorius SetIconDev bug. So now i am starting to live the life 
that I onced lived, saving every 10 min and not every min. Wow life is a LOT 
better. So if you were having that bug try for a day removing all SCSI 
devices. I remember my scanner in the past caused 'heck' too.
