Toolbars... just thought I'd make my contribution...

Tracer has a PICT resource for the tool bar and individual PICTs
for disabled buttons

The relevant function, the same fn as if the menu was selected
is called from the Mouse X,Y coodinates when the X,Y position
is within the toolbar's rectangle.

After a click, the button edges are drawn with PLOT lines
to shown button "depression", I've been thinking about
adding a click sound too...

When I first developed this method (in FB1), I didn't know
how to do floating palettes and once the toolbar was established
I've found it too daunting to retrofit it into the code (which uses
the PG program layout).

Are there any gurus out there who has tips for
introducing floating palettes?
