Hi,

You're not alone. I have the same problem with HP printers and my own 
code. I use the toolbox to position the cursor and then do a 
DRAWSTRING with the toolbox. On the HP, same deal. Underneath is grey 
text over top is a black box that covers the text.

No idea why either. A bug in the HP drivers?
