Dear list members, I fully agree with Jonathan, as he is looking for the _beef_, or if you prefer: Form follows function. Some more remarks: With their first lines of the FBII Handbook, the authors tell the reader that she/he is to consult a general introduction to BASIC, if she/he is an unexperienced beginner. I think, this still holds true. I am sure that a FB^3-adapted version of the Handbook will be available in the near future. Obviously, the presently missing FB^3 Handbook is a marketing handicap. I guess Jonathan is looking for a quick remedy, because he and the whole french team have to quickly serve the french market that is somewhat different to most other markets in the world. (For instance, you _well_ may sell the english version of a program in Germany but you may not in France. In general, french customers like to see more service, and I think they are right...) Furthermore, please be aware that in Europe the role books and bookstores play in cultural life may be slightly different from that in great parts of the US and elsewhere in the world. Best, Herbie ***************************************** H.Glu@...
