To gain visibility for FutureBASIC it is best done via the web
firstly, and secondly, magazines, IHMO. A book would help
with the second objective.

I don't think this has been mentioned on the list yet but
Staz has released FuturePaint 2 - if you haven't
seen it yet then you're in for a treat :-)

It's freeware. It's great. It should bring FB^3 to the attention
of many, many people - providing Staz gets around to telling
people about it :-) I bet it'll be on every mac magazine cover disk
on the planet.

Download now from Staz's site.

It currently doesn't have any manual. Staz has indicated that if
I wanted one then I should make one! Surely, producing
a manual for that would be within our
capacity? And having established a "team" we could go on
and do something for the FB Handbook :-)

I'm happy to offer my services for the FuturePaint 2
manual... anyone want to help?

On other joint efforts:

The first "improvement" to TJ's C to FB
converter is available from:

ftp.futurebasic.org/dropbox/c2fb.sit

Or email me.

Please test and improve :-)

Has anyone tried FILL on MacOS 9 yet?
