Since we've had the ADSL line I have had TCP/IP connections that have lasted up to 2 days [I listen to the radio on my Mac, and fall asleep with it on!]. I have fine-tuned the system down to only 11,3 Mbs at startup, and the only consistantly unstable app is OE5 that slips regularly into macsbug on a toolbox call 'transliterate text'. However IE4.5 & OE5 both seem to cause 'system creep' - ie, the OS gradually swells in size... I guess someone isn't freeing up memory properly... or perhaps it is LIBs that aren't being released properly... :-j [no gnomes in my sig this time... promise]
