Must be nice to be smart. Perhaps just more focused? Maybe after all of the FB^3 Stuff is up and running smoothly, we can concentrate/collaborate on getting a really good drawing/paint program out the door. Most of the ingredients seem to be there in the various FBII Examples and Future Paint 2. I suspect the Objects Classes that Staz is working on (I think I heard/read something about that) could greatly facilitate that, along with recent explorations of the list into linked lists, which are pretty imperative for good draw programs. The one thing that Mac has always lacked - though there ARE some pretty fair ones out there NOW, is a good, inexpensive CADD Program. I used a high end Draw Program called Dreams (it succeeded MacDraft at one point), but it did not pass the move to System 8. MacDraft has been taken over by another company and is pretty fair - even supposed to be auto-cad compatible, though from what I've seen that is not exactly the case, and there is always the NEW incarnation of MiniCadd, called "Vector?". I'm in the process of checking into that right now, but this IS a big HOLE in the Mac Software Product Line that I have been working on - on and off - since my first experiences with Mac Programming. Apparently, there are also a number of "low end" Drafting/CADD programs that I think may have been ported over from DOS. Anyone have some free time to work on FB^3 Shells. I still haven't gotten any feed-back on Bios. Would you guys just prefer to remain anonymous? If there are expressions/feelings on the subject I'd love to hear them. If you're just waiting for me to send out a form you can complete, give me a few yeas and I'll put one with the next beta. Everyone treat those ladies right. This is Moma's Day! Joe Wilkins
