Just a couple of weeks back I was running QuickBASIC=MSBasic
under 7.5.5 on a 680x0. I just had to go back to
24 bit mode using the memory control pannel --
an option that disappeared with the 68K machines(?).

PS.  There is a lot of folklore in the list archives
on running QuickBASIC or MSBasic in modern environments.
Mostly it is is possible, I believe.
