That is useful for ignoring big messages; > though I haven't actually found out how to delete them from the server > without asking the ISP. > Hi, Alexandre Carlhian (a French programmer) has made a useful tool called Mail Siphon for that purpose (there is also a US localized version). The read me file says: << Mail Siphon is tool to manage mailboxes. Mail Siphon provides an easy way to purge your mailbox or delete a specific e-mail without downloading the others. If someone sends you a really large e-mail, you might want to delete it rather than download it. The problem is that you can't get the other messages which are stuck on the mail server. You may also be the victim of 'mail-bombing'. That means that someone with a sadistic mind sent you a lot of mail to "explode" your mail box. The only solution is to purge your mailbox. >> I'm not ready yet to promote RB but it was made with that other BASIC, in fact I was hoping someone else gives that info. I've not visited the site but maybe the software is available for download at: http://www2.pinkpig.com/mailsiphon/ Cheers Alain
