I bought the full copy of CodeWarrior some time ago and this Discover
Programming CD is still hanging around. I forgot I had it.

Anyone want it? Free!!!*
*(shipping included, offer good only in the continental USA)

It is a limited license version (version 4), contains all you need to
get started programming in C, C++, PowerPlant (like Program
Generator) and Java.

It compiles only for 68k no PPC applications. The new version 5 will
do PPC but if I recall the license is more limited. I should also
point out that version 5 is not free ;-)

Here's the full explanation from the CD:

* What's in the Package?

First and foremost, the Discover Programming Edition includes a complete,
working copy of Metrowerks CodeWarrior. This is not a "light" version of
CodeWarrior (like the one you might find in the back of a Macintosh
programming book). This is the same version of CodeWarrior that ships on
the Professional Edition. The difference? Though this version of
CodeWarrior will run on both PowerMacs and 68K-based Macs, it will only
generate 68K-based applications (Don't worry, 68K-based applications will
run just fine on a Power Macintosh). Also, the software license will not
allow you to produce commercial applications for resale.

But wait, there's more! You also get electronic versions of some cool Mac
programming books. You get Learn C on the Macintosh (2nd edition) and Learn
C++ on the Macintosh by Dave Mark as well as the Programming Starter Kit
for Macintosh by Jim Trudeau. The Discover Programming CD includes all the
source code from these books all tested and ready to run using the latest
version of CodeWarrior. Just getting started with programming? Or perhaps
you're a seasoned programmer and want to learn C. Either way, Learn C on
the Macintosh is the place to start. If you already know C and want to
learn how to add the Macintosh look and feel to your programs, then start
off with Programming Starter Kit for Macintosh. Once you've mastered C and
the art of Macintosh programming, you're ready for Learn C++ on the
Macintosh.

Important Note: As you make your way through the CodeWarrior documentation,
you'll occasionally see references to a Tools CD and a Reference CD. The
CodeWarrior Professional Edition separates its tools and documentation onto
two separate CDs. CodeWarrior Discover Programming Edition includes both
tools and documentation on a single CD. Just trying to avoid a bit of
confusion!
