August 10th,1945..when I was 23 I was with a group who carried battery
powered radios to GeneralYamashitas headquarters  on Luzon, PI to let
them hear that the war was over... we were met by Captain
Yokae..Yamashitas Chief of staff..whom I later guarded at the country
club in Baguio..the general was having his a** kissed by our general
staff unfortunately....a long life to you Brian as anyone brave enough
to tell this group his true age:-) ...I've been lying about mine for
years..especially to young ladies.:-(
