Its taking a lot of getting used to, but I'm starting to get around in
it. I really love the Terminal program. Neat stuff. The only things
that bug me is that I have no icons on my desktop for some reason so
downloads don't appear and classic is all messed up, but its probably some
of my 3rd party extensions messing that up.
The best thing I have found so far is the java2 runtime and compiler in
the BSD layer - sweet! Now I can do all of my programming assignments for
class at home...um, in the dorm that is.
I'm looking forward to apple's dev tools and seeing FB running on this at
some point...my stupid crashing tendancy when writing programs will
finally be a thing of the past. I've crashed a lot of apps since yesterday
when I got it installed and haven't had to reboot yet :-)
I think a lot listers here will hate it (Jim, I can already hear your
complaints!) but its really a nice OS once you get used to it.

Mmm, and the CPU monitor and process list that sorts by user! Man there's
so much to like about OSX. I just wish it *looked* more like OS9, but
I'll get over that pretty quick :-) Did I mention it picks up mice with
scroll wheels and two or more buttons automatically?
