It seems to me that in 2001 you should be migrating from dvips to dvipdf(m) by one Mark Wicks; it has excellent hypertext, and graphics support (direct assimilation of TIF, PNG, JPEG, and PDF). It is now part of CMacTeX. Incidentally, dvipdf(m) is a direct outgrowth of dvipdf, so Rokicki does not feel slighted. But even dvipdf(m) is not politically correct! Nowadays, the politically correct use pdftex --- which however has noticeable stability and documentation problems... Cheers Larry S
