Time to add my two Eurocents's worth to this epochal clash of titanic 
minds: in my native tongue (yuk) the affliction is known as "Mond en 
Klauwzeer" which stiltedly translates into English as "Mouth & Paw 
Discomfort" -- neatly excluding horses, tradionally the only hooved 
animals graced with feet. Back to BASIC folks.
