One thing I forgot, that may be useful to game programmers;

There's a simple demo application showing offscreen gworld animation
(double buffered) at <ftp://users.aol.com/BMichael/FlyBrain.sea.hqx>.
This 171K demo is "straight FB", no PG involved. (Whether that's good or
bad is up to you... if I were starting today I'd use PG, but I've got too
many years of FB "without" to change overnight.)

The source, with no .rsrc file, (but easy to steal from the app above - I
didn't say that...) is at
<ftp://users.aol.com/BMichael/FlyBrainPub.sea> 15K, or
<ftp://users.aol.com/BMichael/FlyBrainPub.sea.hqx> 32K.

If anybody is willing (and has the time) to take this demo and change the
graphics so it doesn't use the trademarked "flying brain" and THINKfast
logo, I'd make it generally available as sample source. Right now I don't
mind sharing the source, or the compiled app, but I have a problem with
actually providing a resource file using graphics that I don't own. Maybe
a bird with clouds for a background? Any artists or freebie clipart
collectors out there?

This is a "freeware" screensaver that you get when you purchase
THINKfast, the commercial FB game (ported from VB on the PC side) that
isn't quite done yet... There's also an AfterDark module version of the
same thing, if anyone is interested in that. (And yes, I'll provide the
URL to buy it when it ships, and yes, I'll be needing beta testers and/or
some additional programming help, real soon now... it's been through one
beta cycle already, and I'm stepping on the known bugs this weekend. I
hope. Get ready for a flurry of questions from me...)
