If you are getting a double-refresh then more than one event is handling
your window display.  Another possibility, its being handled in the raw
events then being handle by your dialog event handler.

Wrong I think.

Your "Tabs on the fly" you sent me worked fine, albeit with the ever
annoying FB^3 double refresh of controls, etc. on the pane switch, the one
you emailed me also worked.

Steve's does not, therein lies some change.

So the problem isn't my OS I don't think.
