I'm not qualified to give an advice related to computer science but
I might try to do my best to help you with the French language if
needs be. You can easily forget Latin since Ancient Romans used to
use computers mainly built with stones which are very outdated nowadays.
OK, OK, Latin is a good entrance for all the other languages.
I've been told that German is suitable for the science terminology.
I don't know German, maybe some native speakers can comment on this.
All I know about Italian is that it is a very pleasant language to
hear and that there is an active Mac community in Italy.
I'm not sure Spanish is OK for computer science.
Perhaps, the best for you is to start with a language you already
know a bit, or maybe you could pay a visit to the newsgroups (it,
de, fr, sp) on the net and see how they are crowded.
