Otto, thanks for chiming in on this theme, i counted that the 'wink-and-the-nod' reference in the post would provoke a reaction. i do have the latest HIG docs... but as your name has disappeared [in line with a certain steve's policy that apple productions will no longer be signed by 'authors'?], i preferred mentioning the beta one. poetic licence? please also forgive my writings in the 'pleasure dome' episodes. i am not a technical writer, nor a scientist, so instead of animals, i try my writings out on humans first [well, there must be a few humans subscribed to this list]. i'm sure that had you tackled this saga it would have been much less verbose, smart even and highly readable. which all goes to show that one gets what one pays for. glad to know that you're still around, even if you are lurking in the shadows of the dark side. :-j ps. did you get started on your fb book idea?
