Thank you all!  Got the bugger working. Seems I used "(" where I should
have used "[".  (Zigged instead of zagged?]  Mel's solution looks real
crispy too. I'll try it.  In any case, all who are interested should be
rewarded before too many moons with an even more divine RGB Calculator -
compleat with eyedropper,gods willing.
