Whoops ... did someone just mention nobody mentioned anything... :+) isn't that the idea that got gasse fired? they're talking of putting voice-control into palms now. so i think handwriting recognition -- already supposedly pretty good on the palm -- could be left behind in the dust... but i _am_ really interested in touch-screens, ones big enough to put a picture of a keyboard on it, and "type" comfortably on that... i see these color touch-screens all over the place, such as in bars and restaurants that are using them as cash-registers, so i figure they can't be that expensive. does anyone here know how long it'll be before they are light enough and thin enough to make a "tablet computer". my ideal form factor is an etch-a-sketch. we're already there in terms of regular screens (see the titanium), i'm just wondering how long it'll be before touch-screens get there... -bowerbird
