For example, PG Pro shows me the dimensions of a 13" monitor. I then using the frame that PG Pro states is a 13" frame, design a window to fill the maximum extent of the 13" monitor. However, when I run the program showing the 13" window on my 11.25" laptop monitor, it only covers about 3/4 of the screen. In other words, if I believe PG Pro, then my laptop with a 11.25" monitor is acting like a 15" monitor -- it doesn't make sense. There is something here that I'm not getting. A while back I had a similar conversation with Staz when I designed Quarters to run on all machines, even back to the old toaster Mac's. However, in testing when I designed a window that was supposed to be the maximum size of the toaster Mac, it still filled only about 3/4 of the monitor when run on my toaster Mac. I never did figure out that one and Staz was very adamant that PG Pro "Show Monitor Frames" thing is accurate -- so, I figured that I didn't understand what was going on and I dropped the subject. If someone could explain this to me, I sure would like to know what I'm not getting. tedd -- http://sperling.com
