Some time ago RP showed me how to alter the runtime so that an 
appearance slider/scroller would go through it's dialog even if the 
value was not changed. This prevented holes in recordings when a user 
held down a button.

Oh where is it ? I have been looking in the archives, up my trouser leg, 
in the dog's bowl....
