Robert:

I took my PPC 9500/160 MHz and upgraded with a card to a G3/500 MHz.
It worked great for OS 9, but when I tried to install OS X, there
were major problems and eventually it slowed so bad that it took over
5 minutes for an "About box" to come up. Now, maybe 256 Meg of RAM
wasn't enough or maybe the software didn't work properly with the G3
-- I don't know, but I gave up and bought a new machine instead.
