I guess...not sure what a forward delete key is. :) That the one with 
the x in it (in F13-F15 group)?

-(Never use it)-, but the cursor stayed in place when I did, just 
flickered (OS 10.2.3)

Will try booting in 9.2.2 and see what happens.
