The point is, as Jay mentioned, eBay is an interesting source where you can see the value some things demand -- so there's comparison shopping there. It's also interesting the types of things that are on eBay. For example, a friend of mine lost her brownie girl scout badge a long time ago and always missed it (for whatever reason). She was able to replace the badge from shopping on eBay -- so, there are interesting and unusual things there. My daughter purchases baby formula and sells it on eBay. When she gets an order, she then contacts the company that sells the formula, buys the formula via her special discount (i.e., coupons) and drop ships directly to the customer -- she never sees the merchandise nor has to do the shipping. Also, a friend of mine did the same thing with toddler toys and made a considerable amount of money -- so there is opportunity there. Another person sold the domain name of "act.com" for $5,000 on eBay and the purchaser (a person I know) sold it to ACT! Software for a cool $500,000 -- so, you can find deals there. eBay is worth the time to review. tedd
