Opened the Apple Menu->System Preferences->Classic->Advanced tab Rebuilt Desktop Checked the Home Folder Prefs item... Restarted...Said, yes, copy to Home folder all that I was asked... No Change. Though I now don't get the Zoom Rect whenin the Editor...still get it from a regular file, but it won't double click and open. ? Robert
