My guess would be, temporarily dismount the drives you don't want to 
empty (drag to trash). That means you'll have to be booted from one you 
DO want emptied.

If you need to preserve items in the boot trash, dismount all others, 
open trash and select all, move to a different folder outside the 
trash, remount drive(s) you want to empty.
