VersionTracker has Data Rescue Legacy listed (v3.02) which says it works on 
OS 7.6.

If you look on VersionTracker for the latest version, you'll see that it will 
also let you download various older versions from 4.0 to the current 4.3. I 
would probably try the 4.01 version.
