Yoiks! Would it run all the .exe files it found (perhaps several 
hundreds of them!), or one particular one it was looking for?

If the former, it could become something of a tangle on either a Mac or 
a DOS box. If the latter, I bet you could find some sort of event 
pointing to the mounting of a new volume, and peek at it for your 
particular application...
