This is useless it would seem, even if you can put Preferences > and a 
hierarchical on the Apple menu as a workaround...there's still a 
Preferences item stuck in the Application menu... DisableMenuCommand 
just grays it (or it's gray if you never use Menu Preferences), you 
can't seem to delete it.

OS X...argh.
