Lucky you are. At last count, there are over 1000 spams a day 
directed at my email addresses. Thank Goodness for spam filtering or 
I would lose my main email address (i.e., tedd at sperling.com).

My advise is to get an address that you can lose or one that is 
filtered, like tedd@... and use that address for posting to 
newsgroups or other such public places.

Spam will be a thing of the past, but unfortunately, not soon.
