With respect to Tedd's statement about his FB4-Script .dtd-file:

"Can't a .dtd file be saved as either binary or text?"

I should liek to add that my FB4-Script .dtd-file is near to empty, 
i.e. it contains two non XML-related resources and 1 byte in the 
data-fork.

Maybe Staz et al. have hidden some basic XML-conventions somewhere-elese.
