Herbie:

Thanks. Let me rephrase my question -- I need to convert Binary Coded 
Decimal (BCD) values (in files) to something I can use in FB. I used 
to use the SANE include to do that, but I'm not sure how to do it 
anymore.

It looks like I can grab those values directly in four bytes chunks, 
but have no way to test if I am doing it right.

Any ideas?
