i'm puzzled,,,,A stupid question, i'm sure, but why do you need to 
delete the .DS_Store files?
i believe osxfinder uses them to store the window position of file 
icons when folder is in icon mode, not list mode.
if you delete a .DS_Store file, osx finder will renew the file the next 
time the folder is accessed from the finder?
