If true, you're more intelligent than any Canadian, but not too much. 
Brilliance (i) peaks at the equator (i=k/0) and regresses somewhat as 
the southern journey continues.

That, if true, would have a regrettable effect on Dr. Purves which 
might cast some slight shadow on the veracity of the premise.
