Joe, I've also made a foray into Java. There are many things about it I do like, but I always like the simplicity of BASIC. The interesting thing with FB is, it has the simplicity of BASIC, but it doesn't take too long to get to the point that you need to get into Carbon. And Carbon is not a simple thing. While Java is not as easy to learn as BASIC, and it is more difficult to get things up and running as compared to FB, Java is much easier to learn than Carbon. Scott Spencer SJ3 Software sj3@...
