Each assignment is in its own folder containing files, resources,
pictures, etc. This allows me to grade each student's work without
having to search for things.

are you sure its ALWAYS going to be the SYSTEM(_aplVol).
If you are using the standard dialog to locate the file I would use the
vol reference in the file spec.

as not defined.
