Dear Larry,

following the thread, I very much should like to comment on your 
efforts and that of all the other brave FB/Unix-specialists.

1.
I should like to point out and thank you for your thorough work of 
collecting and keeping the FB-digests. You are doing this for many 
years now in a perfect way.

2.
The Mac platform is/was famous for its ease of use.

3.
I respect anybody's interest and effort in finding a way to solve the 
present digest access problem, independent of the level of 
complication...

4.
...but don't we all wish to access the digests as easy as we access 
other data in the internet?

5.
Is it reasonable to write and use small and dedicated apps to achieve 
this standard task?

6.
Sometimes even FB-coding is involved enough and if one feels lost one 
really likes to seek help from the digests in a straightforward 
fashion.


I'm sure there is a convenient solution and I'm looking forward to seeing it.
