Take a look at our site, savepostage.com.  We have the font and an 
inexpensive barcode generator program written in FB - but we also have help 
info that describes how the sequence is created so you can program the 
barcode sequence yourself if you want.

But the real difficulty is not creating or printing the font, but getting 
your list certified so that the USPS will accept your barcodes.  If you can 
tell me more about what you are trying to do (off the group if you want) 
I'll be glad to help.
