Funny you should suggest this - as it happens, I have two other customers
who have Intel Macs, and neither one has problems with the sound statement.
So I've suggested to the one who's having problems that he run some
diagnostics to see why his OSX is complaining. Of course, he can also just
turn off the sound option within my program, and get to work immediately.

Thanks for your suggestions, I'll look into them just for my own learning!
