A side note - my app's CPU% climbs slowly and continuously, even when almost
all of it is commented out and idling. I have Robert Purves' little example
app running now and will take a look at it tomorrow and see if even it has
an increased CPU use, even if it's a much slower rate of increase.

I looked at Apple's Leopard support forum, but didn't see anyone else
experiencing these kinds of slowdowns, so I don't know if Apple's aware of
the problem. Anyone know what the best way to contact Apple is?
