Well, I use a Classic (4mg, 7.1) and while slow and colour-free, it does 75 percent of what I want. FB 2 works fine on it. While I can see the logic of not endlessly making software backward compatible, if it can be done without crippling the product, it should. As far as I know, FB is the only powerful compiled BASIC that runs on the 68000. I hope it stays that way. cheers, Paul
