There is this statement that puts a about menuitem in the application  
menu
it is called "APPLE MENU"  it used to be right back in the ol' OS 9 days
but now we're using OS  X mostly  I think

shouldn't that be renamed to something like "APPLICATION MENU" or  
"ABOUT MENUITEM"

Just a thought.
