There is no need to delve into the mysteries of the gnu debugger gdb to see the call stack. 1. Every programmer should set Crash Reporter to show a call stack. This is done by running CrashReporterPrefs.app (which in OS X 10.5 resides at /Developer/Applications/Utilities/), and choosing Developer mode. 2.
