I dont know the answer to your issue but I wonder if you installed Rosetta.
My understanding is that Rosetta is not installed by default on Snow Leopard so any PPC executable will fail.

Subject: [FB] OT : Recompiling C code in bash

Hello,

I am trying to recompile something for OS X 10.6 using bash and failing. I don't have much experience with bash and I am having little success so far.

The file I am trying to compile is a CUPS/filter for Star POS receipt print and it is currently a PPC Unix Executable which no longer works in 10.6

I have the source and want to recompile for Intel in hopes that it will then function. When running the makefile I continue to get permissions denied.

Can anyone lend me some insight or help me recompile?

Steve
