(1) Try opening Font Book and do a Font Validation and see if that  
reveals any errors.

(2) Are you able to reproduce the error with the FB5 example (Text/ 
Scrolling text view/Scrolling text view(10.4) ) ?  If not, do you have  
an short example the list can use to see the problem?

My suspicion is this is related to OS X 10.6 ( can't rule out and FB5  
issue yet ), so I may have to defer to those with 10.6 installed ( I'm  
still on 10.5.8 )
