I recently had a crash in the FB 5.4.2 development system caused by a 
bad line of code in one of my projects:

  EDIT$(_EfLasttName = "Frobisher"  '<- note lack of ")"

The warning was:
Warning in McLeanInfo p_Pages.Incl at line 207
declaration with limited scope: 'ID$' in line 207 of McLeanInfo p_Pages.Incl

  (the actual bad line was line 135)

And then the editor quit with another warning box about arrays. I 
also had to 'force quit' the compiler.

No problems after I corrected the code error.
