Take a look at the Scrolling TextView example in the "Text" folder of 
FB 5"s examples. Also of interest would be the HITextView+FontPanel 
and Static HITextView [10.4] examples.

HITextViews are a pleasure to work with and offer automatic access to 
things like Copy and Paste, Scrolling and the ability to hold huge 
amounts of data.
